Improve Your Website Design With Some SIMPLE Code
Improve Your Website Design With Some SIMPLE Code Don't be scared by a little code!
With a few incredibly simple bits of code that you can add right inside your Website Builder, like Divi, Elementor, Beaver Builder (and more), you can achieve some great effects for your or your client's website.
In this video I go over 3 very easy but very effective code snippets:
<br>
Line Break. You can add this piece of code into any input of your website builder. Right after you place it, the text will be forced onto a new line.
This is great for Header Elements, Buttons, List Elements, and many more to control how your text flows.
<span style="color:black">Text here</span>
Wrapping some text in <span></span> and adding "style" inside allows you to have almost complete control over how the text looks.
Imagine having an important word in a Header be bolded and a different color.
With this combination you can get really creative for how your text appears.
(Watch the video for a full demonstration on how to easily add this code inside your Website Builder).
Anchor Tag - #linkhere
Instead of having your user scroll scroll and scroll to an offer or important piece of text on your page, you can link to it and have them jump immediately!
Adding an anchor tag is simple. To any element inside your Website Builder, find the advanced setting for "ID", and add something unique.
Then, choose a button or piece of text, add a link to it, but instead of a normal website instead type the ID you added with a "#" in front.
So, if you added an ID of "linkhere" to a section, you can simply link to it by using "#linkhere".
What's more, you can even link to anchors on different pages!
Using the same structure as above, just add the other page's url before:
www.mysite.com/newpage#linkhere
Save your user's time and get them to the content you want them to see.
